PostgreSQL and Alembic.

Applivo stores data in PostgreSQL and manages schema changes with Alembic.

Migrations run automatically when the backend container starts. To run them by hand:

alembic upgrade heads

Adding a migration

Create a migration alongside any model change, review the generated file, and apply it. Never edit an already-applied migration.
