Troubleshooting failed applications
What to do when an application fails or waits for you.
Most failures fall into a few categories. Read the status and the short reason on the application first; that tells you which row below applies.
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Needs your attention | A required answer is missing, or a CAPTCHA appeared | Open the application, answer or solve it in the browser, then retry |
| Signed out | Your Internshala session expired | Sign in to Internshala in the same Chrome and retry |
| Failed | The form could not be filled or validated | Open the form manually to see which field is blocking |
| Unknown result | The site gave no confirmation | Check your applications on Internshala before retrying |
| Skipped — already applied | The portal shows a prior application | Nothing to do; the application already exists on the portal |
| Stuck on Applying | The run was interrupted (tab closed, browser quit) | Stop the run and start a new one; interrupted items are requeued when safe |

Retrying safely
- Failed and Skipped items are safe to requeue.
- Items whose outcome is unknown are not retried automatically; confirm their real status on Internshala first.
- If several items fail the same way, check whether the portal's page structure changed or your session expired.
What to include if you ask for help
Note the application's status, the short reason shown, whether you were signed in to Internshala, and whether a CAPTCHA appeared. Do not include passwords, session cookies or tokens.
